There are some interesting facts about
biofuel that many people cease to realize. It seems as if the world is
in this biofuel frenzy. People are trying so hard to get this renewable
substance on the market it is almost insane. This fuel is supposed to
save the world as well as our pocket books. The only problem is right
now all it is doing is killing crops and being a nuisance. People are
more outraged about the fuel then they are happy about it. The
interesting facts about biofuel are something that people do not even
look into. They realize the means in which it is made which is all
natural. Plants are raised and harvested and then later taken to be
burned in a refinery and turned into this fuel. The fuels that it is
being made into are given separate names. You can get the biofuel in
what is called a biodiesel form or as ethanol. The biodiesel form is
what will be used by trucks that presently run off of diesel. While the
ethanol
will be used by cars that run off of regular gas.
People are speculating that in order to run their vehicles off of these
fuels they would have to get a new vehicle all together. This is
actually a false
statement. You can easily add the fuel to your
existing gas tank that you have now. The fuels are actually safe to mix
together. Mixing them will actually allow your tank the opportunity to
get used to the fuel. This way when you convert to utilizing only this
fuel it will not ruin your car and send it into almost a shock, if you
believe it or not.
You can actually run any car that runs off of diesel using vegetable
oil. It's kind of crazy but extremely true. Biofuel is simply like an
oil based fuel. It is made from vegetables which in a sense makes it
the same as vegetable oil. People never thought that this fuel could
begin to make a difference in the world. They actually believed that
people would shy away from the idea, but it shows that more people are
intrigued by the overall idea of this fuel.
Utilizing biodiesel will actually allow your vehicle to last 20% longer
then it would if you were using gasoline. Gasoline almost always causes
your engine to clump up because once its starts working its way through
your vehicle it becomes harsh and black. Gasoline is made from oil,
therefore if you have seen what bad oil looks like. Imagine what your
gas tank looks like from repetitively filling it up with more and more
of the gasoline substance when it runs low.
