American biofuel is being made
from corn. Recently the American biofuel companies filed for a
bankruptcy protection plan with the prices of corn rising to $8.00 per
bushel. Since biofuels are supposed to be the next evolution of
gasoline, it is not actually making a significant profit as it should.
Everyone knows how the economy has been affecting so many different
aspects of life. A plethora of businesses are going bankrupt because
they can not afford to pay their workers or get their pertinent
supplies. The American biofuel companies want to assure that their
quest to make the world a cleaner place is not going to make them end
up in bankruptcy like so many other companies such as GM have already
ended up. Do not be discouraged just because the company is filing for
this protection, they are not going to stop their progression of the
fuels. This biofuel is supposed to allow us to break away from our
tithes that we have with foreign countries. Many companies are opting
to switch vehicles that they manufacture into this new fuel.
The fuel is being called ethanol. It is actually not a new fuel as many
people assume. This fuel has actually been in existence since the
1800s, however people stopped making the fuel and have slowly begun
bringing
the fuel back since all of the oil problems that America has
been facing. Oil is a natural
resource that comes from the ground, yet the years of utilizing it is
making our backup oil rates deplete. Without the essential oil that we
need many things would cease to operate.
The bankruptcy protection plan is supposed to protect the biofuel
industry from having to end up ceasing its operations. If it were to
have to cease its operations our search for a fuel that is supposed to
assist in the green idea of making fuels would cease. More people would
be taken from their form of employment, and it would hurt the economy
just like it has already been in hurt from things that are closing
down. There is no need to per say add more fuel to the fire when so
many things are already going under.
By the year 2022, all cars are supposed to be able to run off of this
fuel being called ethanol. Cars running off of this fuel will give off
less emissions then our standard gasoline running vehicles. With less
emissions being given off that means we can greatly reduce the
pollution that is crowding the world. The ethanol is supposed to enable
us to live a greener lifestyle and be a lot cheaper then gasoline whose
price continues to fluctuate up and down continuously.
