Second
generation biofuel technologies have been developed in a means to
replace the first generation biofuel procedures that have seen a
consistent amount of failed attempts. The first generation biofuel is
actually extremely useful, but it seems as if the demand is not being
met with these new methods. There are a plethora of people who are
upset about the food that has to be wasted in order to produce the fuel
as well. The first generation fuels are simply not meeting up to
anyone's expectations.
The second generation biofuel is supposed to do away with all the
problems that the first generation was facing. This new form of making
the fuel is supposed to eliminate a lot of the problems that the
companies were facing in the get go. Technology is always interesting.
In this case it took a few trial and errors, but things are looking to
start picking back up very soon for the biofuel companies. The second
generation biofuel is supposed to be ten times better then the first.
The goal is to have this new generation of fuel produce more fuel, be
affordable for all and on top of that be great for the environment.
The companies are trying to break away from their old ways of creating
the fuel. They want to create
a fuel that is still as great as the
original. However, this new fuel is supposed to have everything
that the original fuel had left out. Manufacturers are also trying to
keep their distance away from using thing like food materials that can
help aide the hungry in the country. The food was simply being raised
and then burned in order to make this fuel.
There are many goals that have been set forth for this new second
generation biofuel that will soon be hitting the market. Companies are
still going to utilize vegetables and things of that nature like the
first generation fuel. However instead of using things that can be
consumed many companies are leaning more towards utilizing things such
as the husks, leaves, and stems of the plants. Doing so will allow us
the opportunity to still keep our food and will lessen the tension on
biofuel aiding in the current food crisis that we are facing.
The main problem with the second generation fuel is going to be the
process in which we get it. It is going to be a lot more work to get
the fuel from things like the stem and other attributes for that
manner. Getting the fuel from the vegetables was ensuring that everyone
was only breathing pure biofuel. Companies are working diligently to
see what they can do about this new fuel in order to make it better for
everyone and more sustainable for all.
