Rather you choose to believe it or not biofuel history
is actually rich in a sense. There are a lot of people who
inadvertently helped develop this fuel that has been getting a load of
attention in the past 9 years. Many people believe that biofuels were
just recently discovered, this is a misconstrued statement. Biofuel
history actually dates the discovery of the fuel all the way back to
1898. Its kind of astounding to believe that back that long ago people
were already searching for a way to rid themselves of the powerful
black gold known as oil.
Rudolph Diesel actually premiered the first ever diesel engine in 1898.
Surprisingly enough the engine was running off of peanut oil. We are
still utilizing different types of oils and other things of that nature
in order to manufacture our biofuels today. If we would have only
gotten the picture centuries ago this whole fight for oil scenario
would have never came into existence. But, as luck would have it the
past does shape the future and positive steps are being taken in order
to rectify our past mishaps.
In 1908, Henry Ford is also admired for bringing out the first model
T-engine that was running off of his own form of ethanol. Today
